Not sure, I have a problem with Mp3's in Final Cut Pro (audio cuts in and sound sometimes).
If it doesnt work whaty ou would want to do, is convert the AAC to an AIFF -> go to "iTunes -> Preferences -> Importing -> Import To: AIFF" then select the file you want to use, and go up to "Advanced -> Convert Selected File to AIFF..." then it will convert the file to an AIFF that works perfectly with FCP and FCE, just navigate to your Music folder to find the AIFF file. or if you had QT pro.....
To answer your question. You have to keep re-rendering it each time it is moved....just convert it to save you trouble.

In my experience XCode 4 is a bit more resource hungry than XCode 3 was, I wouldn't want to do it with less than 4GB of memory.

Hahaha That was a problem with my wording- I mean I have it fully installed on a separate partition on my Hard drive. I am hesitant to install it to my main partition which I use every day.
Now would be a good time for me to mention that I have a MacBook Pro 13' (2009) with 4GB of Ram and 750 GB HardDrive.
You should never install a developer preview as your main OS...no matter how stable it might be.

a) phone just came out
b) probably not. The iPhone gets warm when you charge it+ use gps/3G antenna, the color of the phone doesn't change how it dissipates heat.
If your phone is just in your car, not being used, then yes it will probaly heat up less because it's white, but it will not cool down any faster

What exact FCP version on what exact Mac OS X version do you use?
Did a complete removal of FCP and reinstallation work?
Can FCP launch in another (even temporarily created) user account?
Btw, maybe a better thread title would be "Final Cut Pro X.y (version) does not start in Mac OS X 10.x.y on a G5 PowerMac".
To edit your thread title, just click on the http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/buttons/edit.gif button on the bottom right of your original post and then click the "Go Advanced" button below your message.

What the hell. Are the GOP just trying to shove as much crap threw that they can knowing they are going to really suffer in 2012. I hope 2012 is the year of the 3rd parties.
This stuff is insane. Look like after wiscons mess they figured out they can get away with a lot.
Also clearly dumb **** is not tied to the South and states like Texas but to GOP and more importantly GOP tea partiers.
GOP get your house in order before the Tea party completely destroys it.

I really don't like this mouse, but maybe you do. It certainly fits with the Mac look well, but I'm a man who likes a good scroll wheel. None of this ball nonsense for me.
$24 shipped should do it. Its really like new as I never took a shining to it.

Actually all of the PCI slots are "special" slots. The standard PCI slot looks like the one the video card is in. However that slot runs at 66MHz where as a standard pci slot runs at 33MHz. The other slots are 64bit PCI slots that run at 33MHz. If you plug a normal card into one of the 64bit slots it will act like a normal 32bit slot. If you were to plug a video card into the video card slot it would run at the faster speed which it may not be able to handle. I think the Radeon 7000 PCI Mac Edition can run at either speed, but I am not 100% sure. If it can, definitely put it in the same slot as the current video card as this will increase performance. Hope this helps...
Edit: I looked at a picture and the 66MHz slot is notched differently from a normal PCI slot. If the card has a notch closer to the backplate at the one end then it should work fine (it should also work fine if it has 2 notches). You might want someone else to confirm this though.

Have a look at the attached project. It shows 2 windows, a PanelTest window and an "Other Window" window. You might need to Cmd+` to see both windows after running in XCode.
You'll notice that you can click the Click Me button in the other window. When you do you'll see a message in the debugger console.
If you click the Login button in the PanelTest window, a login sheet will show. While the login sheet is showing, you can't click the Click Me button in the other window.
If you untick the Sheet checkbox, the login button will show a separate modal window, as opposed to a sheet.
The guts of all this is in LoginPanelController.
Note: This is an abuse of the term Panel. The login window is not an NSPanel. It's an NSWindow. Panels are used to implement secondary windows, like the Library window in Interface Builder in XCode 3 (not like the one in XCode 4).

Do these require a flash? Unfortunately I have a RAID-10 in my machine and I can't do Bootcamp unless I could put it on a USB drive.

If we're recommending a favorite song by an artist, and it appears in identical (or nearly) form on both the original album and on a compilation album (or two, or three...), which is the preferred way of listing it in this db?
I've been doing it both ways, depending on if I really like most of the original album itself, or prefer to get people to look at a broader anthology of an artist's work. But this isn't consistent with the idea of using the db to link everything together.

Well, the menu isn't what you'd call gourmet fare. It's basic, simple stuff. Hard to screw it up. The food is fine, in other words. You get all the sopapillas (sp?) you want, and I drown 'em in honey. It doesn't get much better than that!
When I lived there in the mid-80's the place was well maintained. The last visit a few years ago left me wondering if they were cutting corners or I just happened on a bad shift.

I read somewhere that Starbucks does that type of stuff too... although I can't remember a specific time, and of course it's not a disaster anywhere close to this.
That said, any company in it's right mind would do this. In this case, yes, many, many Kudos to Apple Corporate, even more kudos to the immeasurable help provided by the local Apple staff, but to keep it in perspective I doubt any store would turn people away. It is cool that Apple controlled so much of the building that they could be self-sustaining, and it was very neat that the Managers were sent out to buy food and water before the rush. I like that the company was standing behind whatever decision the employees made - according to that article, some didn't.
Sadly, any number of first-person stories equally moving and more powerful will never be heard.

Hello there,
This probably isn't the best place to ask, but I can't seem to find a better one :s .
I want to develop an application that has a server and a client side.
Now I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some documentation on how these two should communicate. (for things like file exchange(this will be least problematic), operational progress, queue's, 'n stuff)
Apple Developer forums don't really have the greatest layout and don't seem to have any place for a general question like this.
I'm not asking for anyone to give me a bunch of pre-chewed code, I'd just like a link to some documentation about this subject, or come API's that I'd probably need in this scenario.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful :)
Thanks in advance,
Many Greetz,

First of all, I think your CAPS lock is stuck on, and you'd better fix that, because all caps is generally accetped a yelling around here.
Most people around here use the iTunes Music Store, because they have a huge selection of songs for only 99 cents each. The iTMS is the number one recommendation that you will get here.

That does sound like you've recieved something already on its death bed.
Try getting hold of your supplier and see if you can get a replacement?
Its actually his old iphone 3G that has the issue not the new iphone 4 he received.

I can offer you $45 shipped if interested to get it off your hands.
In all honesty, I was hoping for a little more than that. Let me ponder it.
