It's the Bose Sound Dock. Not sure if it's because I updated my iPhone 4 to 4.3.2.

Why are all of you getting so mad that the MacBook Air doesnt have this, this. All of us expected all these things, it is like me saying, "i want the green apple!" and getting the green apple "HEY! i thought it was RED!"
So stop whining about that it does not have these things, most of you sayd that you werent going to get it anyway!
Although i wish it did have these I am ok without them.

so I got it -- are there any default or suggested items, or do you have to define all of them?

Smart idea. A cheap alternative to buying protective film for the antenna band.

It's easier if you order it and bring it with you. Since you have a US address, it should be reasonably easy to order to be sent there and then ask friend/family to bring it over or mail it. Trouble with mailing is that you do run the risk of hitting customs/excise although you should be able to claim it back since you're not a permanent resident.
In terms of what you'll need to use it over here, just a UK plug adaptor. If you have friends with an old iPod power adaptor, you can pull off the old plug part and stick it on your new Powerbook adaptor.

Joining the ranks of the masses of famous, infamous, and unknowns, Queen Elizabeth now has her own Facebook page. The page was an instant hit with Facebook users, garnering 100,000 fans within hours of going live on Monday.
The Today Show said that the account, adds "a presence on the world's most popular social network to the royal family's accounts on Twitter, photo-sharing site Flickr and YouTube."
Those looking to "friend" the Queen will be disappointed, though. "The British monarchy's Facebook page does not allow users to 'friend' the Queen or to send her messages, but offers updates on royal news and diary events."
The British royal family, the Today Show notes, "prides itself on keeping up to date with new technologies." With that in mind, it seems in keeping within character for the Queen to have a Facebook page.
This will give the British royal family yet another platform within which to be seen, and the message within this setting is well-controlled. Since no one can "friend" the Queen or send her messages, only positive messages can flow forth from the page.
Already, the royal family has embraced new social media. "In the Queen uploaded a video to YouTube during a visit to Google's London offices, in 2009 a British monarchy Twitter account was launched, and a royal Flickr account was created this year."

I believe this (http://www.facebook.com/TheBritishMonarchy#!/TheBritishMonarchy) is Her Majesty's page.

Oh well, gotta get done.

I'm running an iBook G4 with the most recent version of leopard. I tried to calibrate the color profile and I messed it up. Now there is far to much contrast and the colors are off.
However I have noticed that when it is in the installing updates screen before it restarts the color is back to normal.
No matter what I do I can't get the default color profile that I'm seeing on the installing updates screen to activate. Any suggestions?

I have a number of JPEGs in grey color profile.
...
, I need to do this with tens and sometimes hundreds of images (x-rays) and importing each one into keynote is not very efficient. Is there a way to batch converting them from grayscale to RGB?
.
Whenever I see something where I need to repeat the same action multiple times, I always take a quick trip to Automator.
I just made a quick workflow with 3 actions:
1) Ask for Finder items
2) Copy Finder items (so you don't screw up the originals)
3) Apply ColorSync Profile to Images (I set it to use my calibrated Colorsync profile, but a generic RGB one would work)
I ran this workflow on a couple of greyscale images, and the result is an RGB image.
Hope this helps,
Tim

Any ideas? This will be a major issue of course if unresolved.
