The big problem (other than all the $$ this could have made him) is that he will likely find it very hard to ever get proper credit for the image in the eyes of the world, since the proverbial "horse has left the barn" syndrome, and since it has already been credited to other photographers and designers in other countries, who have sold it as if it were theirs. Chances are few photographers will ever experience one, or several of their images having this much commercial and mass appeal, and doubtful he will again, so not getting any recognition for his images must be a huge mixed blessing.
This video/film will certainly help, since that's how I learned of the story, but it will probably be very difficult for his name to ever be associated with the iconic images, except in fairly small, informed circles. Most famous pictures that are easily recognizable are generally associated with the photographer who made them -- in this case, that would take one hell of a major publicity campaign, since it's being treated like public domain work. At least this youtube video is a start...

thank you , but still the same result no matter how often i even show windows that ati catalyst thing or how often i let it run windows is totally refusing to see that there is a ati x1600 inside and still using a standard vga driver for a 16mb card
not even on a hackintosh i came across such problems neither on my gaming rig's which obviously run windows natively
or do i think to difficult
update :
YES i did think to difficult , after reinstalling OSX and then windows7 via bootcamp and not even try to install any downloaded drivers windows 7 updated the ati x1600 from alone after running windows update , now even windows 7 is using the native resolution :)
and windows 7 is actually really speedy compared to snow leopard , can't beat tiger which runs on another partition but still a huge improvent over windows vista which made me switch to linux back then
now i got a real all in one computer.. Mac OS 10.4/Mac OS 10.6/windows 7/LINUX (mint, debian ,fedora, red hat)all on separated partitions and all OSes work natively

I was not really impressed with black ops. but i did like the maps and the addition of a few features like sliding and attack dogs and the RC car. oh and zombie mode. even though the buttons was the same it felt like a totally different game but i guess it takes time to get use to it.
the flame thrower is going to get real old real fast, its going to be the next noob tube.
I do think they could have done a better job with it then they did.

I recently switched over to Safari from Camino. I love everything about Safari, except when I open 8 new tabs in a window with 9 or more tabs, the last few tabs are closed. Is there any way to stop these extra tabs from closing? It never did that in Camino.
Thanks in advance,

Gee I wonder how many would be sold if they weren't purposely crippling the supply lines to retailers and holding back finished consoles?

Unfortunately, this has led to a lot of catalog mining. Previous-gen PS2 and Xbox games like Ubisofts "Blazing Angels" and "Prince of Persia" were gussied up with Wii Remote controls and then shoved out the door to capitalize on the systems momentum.
This is my major fear about the Wii. But...
After Ubisoft, Electronic Arts is the next major third-party developer to redirect resources to the Wii. Not only has the gaming giant set up Wii-dedicated development teams, but within the last month, EA has released no fewer than three Wii titles: "SSX Blur," "The Godfather: Blackhand Edition," and "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07."
...this brings a little promise, even if it is EA and EA is the devil. :p

Depends on the capacity. I would say $100 most for an 8GB. $150 for 16GB. If you wanna sel it quick, it'll be a bit lower than that.

Nah, nothing has changed.
I live in Germany, and we get all the gimped versions of "mature" games, if we get them at all. (GTA's without blood etc.) So if I get the Go, I will probably just use an Austrian or English account with it, as I can buy PSN cards for both on Amazon. The important thing is to stick with ONE account, so I don't have to switch games around all the time.

Hi all,
I used to be able to go into my home directory, in Music/iTunes I think, and find all the files that were backed up from my iPad. Just recently however I no longer see them. Can anyone tell me where backed up files are now being stored?
Thanks.

Hey I noticed that on some threads after peoples reply there is a line then it will say all the computers, ipods, iphones etc. that they own or it will just say some random comment like its ipod touch not itouch. I was wondering how you get this becasue it looks like people can set it to automatically do this after all there posts.

I use NTFS for Mac OS X and it has worked without a problem.

I've found several articles & posts all suggesting to not put any apps with badges "like email" (Which I'm assuming are the red markers) on the dock. But, I've been unable to find anything that explains "why/why not"
The suggestions have typically been in conjunction with installing the 5 icon dock tweak in cydia (which I have).
I'm assuming BiteSMS & Facebook would fall under the "apps with badges" category. What is the reasoning behind these suggestions? Does it interfere with push, etc?
Any help is appreciated.
I used Greenpois0n (RC5 b4) for the vzw iOS 4.2.6 to unlock this piece.
Thanks!

whenever i repair permissions (when updating osX .etc) the same permission always gets repaired. there may be others sometimes but this one is always there.
is this unusual?
i'll add the specific file permission once i do a repair.

Your best bet is to tinker around with the examples (https://github.com/BigZaphod/Chameleon/tree/master/Examples).

Seeing as how the phone is several years old, and is not functioning properly, I would like to attempt to break... er I mean fix it one more time before I throw in the towel. I honestly don't care if its repairable or not. Does anybody have anything useful that I can try???
Thanks!
Edit:
The problem was the battery. I'm really surprised that nobody suggested that...
Now the antenna isn't working, but I'm pretty sure that I bent the gold pin next to the do not remove screw away from the case. However, bending it back to where it is touching the silver bezel around the case makes no difference. I also read that the headphone jack serves as part of the antenna, and that screw was missing, but I've since located and installed it with no change to the antenna strength. I did have 1 bar for about 5 seconds after initially installing the SIM card, but I have since seen nothing but "No Service".
Thanks!

I know that, but I would rather not mess up my computer by editing NSWindow and change something I don't know about :)
I had a friend look in her /System/Library/Frameworks in one of the frameworks folders: she said there was no subfolder or symlink "Headers" in it. IOW, the headers are only installed if you install XCode. They do not affect the function of the framework itself in any way at all. The only thing I imagine you can expect to happen is weird behavior from GDB.

you probably need to install MacDrive (http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/) or HFS+ (http://www.paragon-software.com/home/hfs-windows/) on your winsloth installation.
