This page http://guides.macrumors.com/Special:Wantedpages is useless.
The creation of those footers that link to every Mac is certainly a good idea, however, it really distorts the Wanted Pages thing and makes it hard to figure out what to work on.
I propose we either:
1. Un-link the unfinished articles in the footers (for now!)
2. Form a tiger-team and knock out ALL those missing Mac/iPod/whatever pages in short order, so that "WantedPages" gets back to random stuff.

I have a verizon 327w by westell, and a dual band aebs, i want to be able to use the aebs to do all the ip adresses and be able to forward ports (not sure how to do this ?)
i guess my main question is how to do this? how do i turn my 327w into bringe mode and then make the aebs the main modem/router and just get the data from the westell?
if i do this will the ports outa the back of my westell 327w atill be active to plug stuff into?
thanks for any and all help.
i can read, and have read a few manuals but reading it, and understanding it is harder for me unless someone more experienced can break it all down for me in laymans terms.
thanks

So my Classic has gone from it's old 20ish hour battery life to a measly 2-2 1/2 hours if I'm lucky.
My question is has anyone bought a good battery for the first gen 80GB Classic and if so does it outperform the old stock one?
Thanks!

I think it will start the year from the date that you enter the code, as trials get 100MB and don't have full access to Dot Macs features.

At the moment they are okay. The rule against simulated signatures is primarily to prevent people from quoting the simulated signatures and leading to increased visibility of the irrelevant information. We'd definitely revisit it if it gets to be an issue with Tapatalk and the like though, just as we're willing to revisit most things.

How to DFU Restore.
-----------------------------------
1.) Open iTunes and connect the iPhone.
2.) Press and HOLD the Home button AND the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
3.) After the screen turns off, LET GO of the Sleep/Wake button and CONTINUE HOLDING the Home button.
4.) iTunes will pop up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in Recovery Mode. (You can let go of the Home button now.)
5.) Click 'Restore' to restore your phone to Factory settings.
Your iPhone's screen will be blank after you go into DFU mode, it should not say connect to iTunes or anything else. Also I would disable your Firewall and Anti-virus temporarily while your Restoring.
And you will also loose your Jailbreak and iTunes might force you to upgrade to iOS 4.1. If you want to keep 3.1.2/3.1.3, then you will need to do Shift/Option Restore and locate your ISPW.

You should use <a id="top></a> for that anchor. While "name" is still part of the spec, later versions of XHTML will be getting rid of the "name" attribute. I'm unsure why it doesn't work in Safari (perhaps a conflict with another id?) but try using "id" and see if that works.

I'm not really surprised about helping out locals, as I imagine most places were.
I'm more surprised about their "write-off" attitude; that they would whatever was needed for someone to get somewhere... impressive.

Gotcha, thanks for that. I knew the rest of it, just didn't realise there were different scales of Power Manager resetting. :)

Such a pointless article with no insight. As far as the lack of buttons goes, the single button mouse has always annoyed me. Instead of just adding a right mouse button, they require a user to hold down a button on the keyboard and then click single mouse button. I also get annoyed with the missing backspace and backward delete key. Macs look nice and the OS is superior to Windows, but not Linux. At any rate, the fact remains that Apple products are over priced.

Still if google is found guilty of using Oracle's technology they're in deep kimchi
Actually, with only 3 patent claims left and Google entitled to keep 8 prior art references for invalidity before the jury, the deepness might not be as big as you think it is. ;)

Congrats on the jump. Like you, my first computer was an IBM 8088. Been into computers since. Jumped back and forth over the years. Jumped back when OS X hit v3. After selling my Mac pro's, I bought a 2010 mini. Limited but still useful. Don't think you will have to much of a learning curve. Have fun.

I received some unpacked electron tubes from Musicians Friend once; never will I buy anything fragile from them again!
FWIW I've had passable dealings with MusiciansFriend, but I've never seen a company do customer service quite as well as Sweetwater. Their limitation is primarily that, if you ask them for purchase advice, they tend to steer you towards unnecessarily expensive solutions, but aside from that, very nice.

I use RipIt to to initially rip the dvd onto my mac and then I use handbrake to convert the file to MP4 format in order to put it into my itunes library. I have just recently began putting my TV Show DVD seasons onto my computer and have noticed a change in the quality for the worst. I have watched the MPV format video via RipIt and the quality is fine. Seems like when converting from Ripit to Handbrake MP4 the quality becomes worse. I use the "Universal" setting and have played around with different types of presets and picture settings with no luck. Any suggestions?

I forgot all about MacTel! PowerCC was the big one back then. Better specs than any Mac at the time with the 66Mhz bus. Mine has a bad SCSI drive, though, and won't boot up anymore. :(

Try buying TV series instead of illegally downloading them off the net.
Most programmes aren't actually available for sale.

I like these, although I think the Giraffe would be better with some colour. I love the first two though, how long did they take?
