This to me sounds like a battery problem. How old or new is the iPod? I have an iPod Classic 160 from 2006 and works and syncs fine but my older classics are starting to act up and are becoming really, really slow probably most likely from the software updates etc. That's my guess.

I had the same problem but ended up uninstalling iretiner because I didn't use it much. Couldnt find a fix though

Real guns > Paintball guns > Airsoft guns > Nerf guns > Water guns > Lego guns
Thats all.:D
I mostly agree, airsoft guns are better then paintball guns though.. they are much more realistic....

So I have had my iPod Touch 1g for a long time now. the back is getting pretty scratched up and i was wondering if there are any snap on cases just for the back, much like all of the ones for the 2g. i think those are pretty cool and I am wondering if anyone knows about any company who is still making them for the 1g or any alternatives to snap on backs (I dont want a whole case). Thanks!
You could get a bodyguardz and just apply it on the back. Other than the bodyguardz there is no way you can have a case on the back only; it will have to be hanging on the bezel.

Maybe iTunes has the keep the library organized setting on?
It is not iTunes exclusive. Copy and paste doesn't work in OpenOffice, Safari, Chrome, Pages, etc.
And the Drag and Drop is not within the iTunes folder. I cannot move files to iDisk, nor can I drag file to the Trash.

Stephen,
Like anything else, networking is usually a good way to find someone. Check out "LinkedIn" and look for people you know who know iPhone developers.
When you find a developer, you have to remember that you're working on a relationship that is going to be around for a while. So, my recommendation is to build a product backlog that shows what's required for version 1, version 2, etc. etc.
Payment depends entirely upon the skills required and domain knowledge involved. Expect to pay from $50 to $250 per hour. A fixed "job rate" can be negotiated as well. Some developers work for a cut of the profits or an ownership stake in the app that's developed...

It's up to you on whether you want to remove it or not. I don't think anything will happen, but if something happen, hopefully you have warranty and know how to put the phone back together.

Thats pretty cool. I lost interest in SETI after the change from classic, I did not like the change in scoring and work units.
Really I pretty much stopped when I switched from Mac OS 9 to 10. It would always run in the background in 10. Which I did not want I only wanted SETI to run when the screen saver turned on. Once it was running in the background that meant it ran without 100% CPU usage thus screwing up my average CPU time per work unit.

This could be as simple as setting up port forwarding on your modem/router or as complex as setting up routing on your network. It depends on your situation with your connection to the outside world.
I suppose a few more details for specific help would be required. Do you want it visible to the outside world, or just another subnet that you are connected to? Are you on a corporate network, or a small network with a basic ISP modem/router that you have access to?
Edit: Do you want to publish it to a hosted co.cc domain, or host it on your own server?

my QS 933 /1 Gb ram runs Leopard better than my iBook 1.33 Ghz / 1.5. For some reason the QS is faster with everything. maybe it's the faster HDD.

Image from camera or from a file?
Do you want to get an the raw RGB bitmap values, and apply some 2D mathematical filtering functions using the Accelerate framework and/or your own DSP code, or try doing something with the GPU?
Do you want to work in the RGB, YUV or HSV (or some other) color space?

If you can wait a little, it should be up on iTunes soon for download. There is a podcast channel they started last year and 2007 with the iPhone is up there. I would assume they would add 2008 to the list shortly.
Or you can download Snapz Pro X and record a movie of the Quicktime stream and it will download to your desktop. The unregistered version will have a watermark on the video.
The cheapest way to get the registered version is the $49 bundle Macrumors is advertising. It's 69 dollars without the bundle all by itself.

I am not sure I understand. So you have to try to copy a file (Mac --> PC) to get access denied and that makes it possible for (PC --> Mac) to work when it didn't work before you got the access denied message. Also connecting works (Mac --> PC) fine without having to do anything elaborate.
Connecting (Mac --> PC) works for viewing files only? My setup worked fine when I made sure I was on the same wireless network, and opened up a port on the PC firewall, and started up Windows Sharing on the Mac side.
Also just a word of warning. People freak out when they see MAC or Apple (When refering to a Mac) instead of Mac. It might even be confusing for some networking folks since MAC means something different.

Thanks! Yep. Open 'Image Capture' and set the preferences to NOT open iPhoto when camera is plugged in.
OOPS. I just noticed that you found your solution.
